For most Americans, if their credit card was maxed out and a purchase was declined, that would be a sign to take a look at their budget and make the necessary adjustments. Unfortunately, Washington, D.C. doesn’t seem to understand that.
Congress just voted again to increase the nation’s debt limit. While defaulting on the nation’s debts is not acceptable, neither is just continuing to increase the line of credit. Congress must instead address out-of-control spending!
These politicians need to remember that each dollar they spend is yours – not theirs. I’ll continue fighting to stop out of control spending so you can keep more of the dollars you earn.
