I cannot believe I have to say this, but illegal migrants should not be housed in elementary schools. Period.
But cities like New York City – run by Democrat mayors and governors – disagree with this common-sense statement. First, they turned classrooms into political battlegrounds by forcing kids into woke indoctrination, and now they are literally turning school classrooms into housing for migrants.
This is not how the taxpayers intended for classrooms to be used. These city officials need to know that.
That is why the House this week voted to condemn this usage of the taxpayer-funded resources to house and shelter migrants who came to our country illegally.
We’re not going to force our kids to pay for President Biden’s immigration crisis. I’ll continue to fight to protect American citizens above all else by preventing people from entering our country illegally and taking advantage of our country’s goodwill.
