Just a few days before the President of Israel visited the United States, the chairwoman for the Congressional Progressive Caucus said that Israel is a racist country. Needless to say, that’s an outright lie. Israel remains the only functioning democracy in the Middle East with people from diverse backgrounds representing in the government – unlike anywhere else in the region. Thankfully, the House of Representatives came together and the resolution to condemn those remarks and show support for our ally, Israel, was passed with overwhelming bipartisan support.
Likewise, everyone – no matter their party affiliation – recognizes that air travel in America has lots of room for improvement. That’s why this week the House worked in a bipartisan fashion to address the infrastructure problems and pilot shortages across the United States.
