For two years, Congressional Republicans have been doing everything in our power to clean up the mistakes made by the Biden Administration, and this week was no exception.
First up, the House Foreign Affairs Committee held a hearing on the border crisis that was created by President Biden’s immigration policies. There’s no denying that it’s a national security and foreign policy problem, and the first step to dealing with the mess is for Democrats to deal with reality and be accountable to the American people.
Then on the House Floor, we passed legislation to ensure that the $6 billion in Iranian assets that President Biden released during hostage negotiations earlier this year is permanently frozen. Unfreezing it in the first place was a massive mistake with deadly consequences for our ally, Israel, and I’m committed to keeping every possible dollar away from Iran’s terrorism machine.
