WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Brian Mast (FL-21) today released the following statement after President Biden called on Israel to accept an immediate ceasefire with Hamas.
“Joe Biden is trying to appease far-left lunatics by demanding Israel accept a ceasefire with terrorists,” said Rep. Mast. “Yet again, Biden is putting lives at risk in a desperate attempt to boost his poll numbers. We cannot abandon our best ally in the Middle East.”
Between October 2023 and January 2024, more than 10,000 rockets were launched at Israel by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza. To this day, Hamas still refuses to release the hostages taken on October 7th, including 5 Americans.
