It Didn’t Stop At Kabul

August 15, 2024 | Blog, Defense, Veterans

Three years ago today, a domino fell.

As the same terrorist organization that aided Osama Bin Laden made their way into Kabul, Afghan allies frantically flocked to the airport in hopes America would come to their rescue.

This should not have happened. Yet, it was happening because the commander-in-chief made a logistical mistake of abandoning Bagram Airfield — one of the most strategic locations in the region.

By signaling weakness to the Taliban, Joe Biden rolled out the red carpet to the enemy, bringing in terrorists, including ISIS-K militants that ultimately robbed us of thirteen American heroes.

Unfortunately for America, this was just the beginning.

In 2022, Vladimir Putin ordered an attack on Ukraine. In 2023, Iran gave Hamas a green light to wage the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust.

And this year, China continues to fly over Taiwan, signaling their intent to attack the island.

The domino pieces are falling, while the president enjoys a nice vacation at his beach house in Delaware. This is absolutely disgraceful.

Three years have passed, and too much damage is done due to incompetence in the White House. My pledge is to fight for you in Washington, D.C. so that we do not repeat the mistakes of Vietnam, Iraq, or Afghanistan.

I will continue to push for more accountability and demand all the answers to questions we Americans have.
