Let’s see more “Made in America”

March 31, 2026 | Blog, Jobs

Small businesses are the heart and soul of America’s economy, and they’re about to see more of the support they deserve. Starting May 1st, 2026, the Small Business Administration is rolling out a new “Made in America” loan guarantee under the International Trade Loan Program.

The roll out will mean small manufacturers could be eligible for a new 90 percent federal loan guarantee, a jump from the standard 75 percent. And when lenders have more confidence, it means more resources for American factories, American equipment, and American jobs.

The stronger guarantee will help expand production lines, modernize facilities, and bring more manufacturing back on our shores.

This builds on the tax cuts already working for manufacturers right now: 100 percent expensing on factory equipment, no tax on overtime, and a permanent 20 percent small business deduction. The results speak for themselves—weekly wages in manufacturing jumped 5.1 percent in February 2026 alone.

I’ll keep pushing to make sure Florida’s small businesses have every tool they need to compete and win.
