Are you, or a student you know, looking for a way to serve your country and get an education at one of the top colleges in the world?  Consider applying to one of our nation’s service academies! 

A critical step in applying to the Military Academy at West Point, the Naval Academy at Annapolis, the Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, or the Merchant Marine Academy at Kingsport is to seek a Congressional nomination.  (The Coast Guard Academy does not require a Congressional nomination.)

It can be a daunting process, which is why I am hosting a Service Academy Summit.  Representatives from all five service academies will be present.  You can learn more about what attending a service academy means for you and get answers to any questions you may have about the application process. 

Nominating talented, bright young people to our nation’s service academies is one of the highest honors I have as a Member of Congress.  If you, or someone you know, are considering attending one of the service academies, the applications for my nomination are open until November 1, 2023.
