Rockets are pouring into Israel from Gaza.  Just this past week, we have seen Palestinians fire THOUSANDS of rockets into Israel with the intent of murdering innocent Israeli men, women and children.

Thankfully, they have the Iron Dome.  This defense system has saved millions of lives over the past several years.  It is arguably the biggest humanitarian success in modern history.  Every time it’s deployed, it saves literally thousands of lives that would otherwise have been lost to indiscriminate rocket fire.

However, with a barrage of over 5,000 missiles that’ve been fired into Israel since Hamas launched a full-scale war on the only Jewish homeland on Earth, Israel needs to have every capability to defend itself.

That is why I am leading a bipartisan effort urging the Biden Administration to transfer two additional Iron Dome air defense systems to Israel as the American ally continues to fend off rocket attacks from Hamas.  The two systems are currently sitting idle, and could be used to save countless more Israeli lives.

As Israel faces its greatest threat to date, we owe it to our partner and ally to ensure they have the tools they need to protect themselves.  I will continue to push the Biden Administration to stand with our ally Israel.
