There is no way to repay the debt we owe to those killed in action, but I recently wrote an op-ed in Fox News about how we can do more to show our gratitude as a country.
Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. This is why I continue to support House Republicans’ affordability agenda, which also includes repealing 23 Biden-era regulations and expanding Working Families Tax Cuts.

Let me reiterate: there is nothing—nothing—we can do to repay a servicemember who is killed in action (KIA). But there is more we can do to honor them. I called on House leadership to set a long overdue precedent that anyone serving and killed in action be given the opportunity to lie in state under the dome of the Capitol.
