Small businesses are the heartbeat of the American economy, but over the past four years, they have faced unprecedented challenges under the Biden-Harris administration.

Yet, small business owners have worked incredibly hard to overcome everything that’s been thrown at them.

That’s why I voted yes on the Rural Small Business Resilience Act, the Small Business Advocacy Improvements Act of 2025, and the SERV Act—legislation designed to support entrepreneurs. From ensuring Main Street can recover from natural disasters to helping veterans open and operate their own businesses, these bills demonstrate the bipartisan commitment to strengthening locally owned businesses across the country.

Main Street is a huge part of what makes our community a great place to live, work, and raise a family. I’ll continue to support policies that make it easier for them to create jobs and grow our economy, and I encourage everyone to #ShopSmall!
