We had some big wins this week here on Capitol Hill: from ending cruel animal testing and a new bill to support veterans, to voting to restore American pride, we are getting things done.
Today is Military Spouses Appreciation Day and I want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible husbands and wives of our military families for their unwavering strength, resilience, and personal sacrifices.
I am thrilled to announce that Gianna Pagano from Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach County was selected as the winner of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. Her artwork will be displayed alongside the winners from each Congressional district across the country in the halls of the U.S. Capitol for one year and will receive a trip to Washington, D.C.
We had a lot happening this week: we celebrated a huge milestone, the first 100 days of President Trump’s historic second term; we continued putting together one big, beautiful budget bill; and we voted to give Americans freedom to buy the car of their choice.
Florida’s wildlife is a huge part of what makes our state unique and it’s absolutely worth protecting.
