It was a very productive week in Washington—Congress was back in-session after August’s district work period and we hit the ground running. 

We had a busy week on the Transportation and Infrastructure committee, where I voted to pass a bill that will fund, restructure, and ultimately strengthen FEMA. I also voted to advance legislation that would help keep our skies safe from potentially catastrophic drone disruptions, and secured nearly $500 million for Everglades restoration.
