The unfortunate reality is that endangered animals are subjected to some of the most horrifying acts of cruelty and illegal trafficking.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are tracking elephants, rhinos, giraffes, lions and other animals being targeted by poachers across the globe. Additionally, hundreds of lions have been killed and dismembered for their claws and teeth.

That’s why Congress recently passed a bill that would help combat these horrific practices. The Rescuing Animals With Rewards (RAWR) Act empowers the State Department to offer rewards for information leading to the arrest or conviction of wildlife traffickers.

This will help strengthen our ability to fight the horrible trafficking that is endangering animals around the world.
