Coral reefs play a critical role in protecting coastal communities from hurricanes and devastating flooding. Restoring and protecting these reefs must be a priority as we work together to promote healthier ecosystems, protect aquatic habitats and support our marine life.

That’s why I helped introduce the Restoring Resilient Reefs Act to restore and conserve America’s coral reefs. This legislation would help communities better manage coral reef ecosystems and protect our coastlines.
