The maintenance of our marine ecosystem is important for communities across the country from Michigan to Florida.  That’s why I worked with Representative Debbie Dingell from Michigan to introduce the Forage Fish Conservation Act this week. 

This bill will strengthen key protections for fisheries and promote responsible management of forage fish, which will also help economies that depend on tourism, recreational fishing and boating.
