2023 began with a Chinese spy balloon floating across the continental United States, and it ended with Israel locked in a battle to destroy Hamas terrorists following the despicable and subhuman attacks of October 7.

Both instances demonstrate President Biden’s complete failure when it comes to foreign policy.  That’s what I’ve been working to counter as the Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight & Accountability.   In the committee, we’ve worked to keep American tech out of the hands of our adversaries, and I’ve been vocal about our need to stand with our greatest ally - even when some on the Left tried to censure me for it.

As a soldier, I fought on the battlefield to protect our nation from foreign adversaries, and that’s a fight I’m still in now as a Member of Congress.
