We Need American Strength
When America is strong, the world is peaceful. That was the difference between the Trump Administration and the Biden Administration. Under President Trump’s leadership, the world knew what peace was because America was strong. Under President Biden, on the other hand, America is getting weaker, and our enemies are getting stronger.
From his first year in office, President Biden has shown the world that his foreign policies are utter failures - starting with his catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan. Billions of our tax dollars were sent to the Taliban and the country has become the next Club Med for terrorists. This type of weakness in the White House has spelled trouble for the United States in countering Russia and China.
In fact, just this month, eleven Chinese and Russian warships patrolled the waters off the coast of Alaska - within our maritime borders. President Biden’s response was to just shoo them off and tell them not to do it again.
President Biden fails to notice that it’s a pattern for our adversaries. Earlier this year, Chinese spy balloons gathered intelligence from tens of thousands of feet above the United States. The Biden Administration shot it down after it had flown across the entire country. Last December, a Chinese military jet came within 10 feet of an American aircraft and forced it to take evasive maneuvers to avoid a collision.
Despite blatant provocations from communist China, President Biden only reacts when news cameras are pointing at the problems.
The mission of China is clear: they want to overtake the United States and become the next superpower. We need strength in the White House that can handle these threats from our adversaries. As a chairman for the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability, I will continue to demand responsibility from the Biden Administration. America must lead from a position of strength.
