Honoring Our Veterans

Today is a day we come together to honor America’s veterans—the men and women whose courage goes beyond anything just one word can capture. Veterans Day isn’t just a date on the calendar. It’s a moment to stop and recognize the people who carried the weight of our freedom—who missed birthdays, anniversaries, first steps, holidays—so the rest of us could live in peace.

To my brothers and sisters-in-arms, service like yours isn’t just bravery. It’s devotion, sacrifice, and a shared love for our country.

Some of my proudest and most painful memories come from serving alongside my brothers and sisters in arms—people who gave everything. We didn’t do it for recognition, but because it meant that our families back home got to enjoy the freedom and liberty that only America makes possible.

And to every American who meets a veteran—stop for a second. Look them in the eye, and know that the person standing before you helped make this country what it is, a nation still shining as a beacon of hope and freedom to the world.

So today, and every day, we remember your service, your sacrifice, and your strength. We keep you deep in our hearts — where gratitude never fades.

Thank you and Happy Veterans Day. I salute you, and I love you all.
