This week has been busy, both overseas and here at home. I have an update on the situation in the Middle East, recovery efforts for Florida growers after this winter’s deep freeze, and important testimony from St. Lucie County Sheriff, Richard Del Toro.

First off, America is finally putting an end to the terrorist regime of Iran, and I am deeply grateful for every single one of my brothers and sisters in arms who stands watch for our protection. The truth is that Iran has been attacking the United States for forty-seven long years. Eliminating that threat, and their capabilities to reach out and harm Americans is the only way to protect our freedom. May God Bless the United States of America.

Back home, many growers across our region are still recovering from the record-breaking cold temperatures that struck Florida last month. For those of you affected, my office is hosting a Farmers Freeze Recovery Meeting on Friday, March 13 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Hobe Sound Farmers Market to help growers understand what resources are available and how to apply for assistance.

P.S. I know that there’s confusion over Rep. Mace’s bill, H.Res.1100. I want to address my vote and how it protects victims and witnesses. Click here to learn more.
