Nobody looks forward to tax day, but this year, there is a silver lining: Americans are already seeing bigger refunds compared to last year. That's all thanks to the “One Big, Beautiful Bill”, the piece of legislation Republicans passed into law last summer to lock in the doubled standard deduction and the child tax credit, and lowered tax rates across the board.

Here’s my fundamental belief: it’s your money. Every single dollar that the government spends is one that YOU went to work for, and Washington should be forced to do more with less, so that you can do more with more. That’s why I supported this bill, and it’s why I’m encouraged to hear that this year’s refunds are already bigger than last year’s. But I want to hear about your experience:

if you’ve already filed your taxes, let me know: did you see a bigger refund this year? If you didn’t, I want to hear about that, too.

Share your experience here.

I hope to hear from all of you. If you haven’t filed your taxes yet, the deadline is April 15.
