Another major win with President Trump back in the White House—illegal immigration at our southern border is plummeting

Since President Trump took office in January, illegal border crossings have dropped significantly. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data shows just 61,465 illegal aliens were apprehended at the southern border in January; that's a 36% decline from the previous month. This includes 29,116 apprehensions along the border, the lowest since May 2020, and 32,349 at ports of entry.

For comparison, under the Biden-Harris administration, the average number of illegal immigrants encountered at the southern border in January was 141,710—more than double the current number.

For the past four years, D.C. Democrats prioritized political games over securing our border.

Under President Trump, America is making a comeback! Republicans in Congress are likewise committed to our nation’s security and sovereignty. That’s why we’ve passed bills like the Laken Riley Act and the Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act. We’re going to keep fighting to put America first.
