Earlier today, House Republicans passed the Special Interest Alien Reporting Act of 2025a critical step forward in strengthening our national security and holding the previous Biden-Harris Administration accountable for its reckless immigration policies.

This bill requires the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to publicly report how many Special Interest Aliens (SIAs) are attempting to illegally enter the United States. SIAs are non-U.S. nationals who are flagged as potential national security risks due to travel patterns, country of origin, or other indicators.

We all have a right to know who’s trying to enter our country illegally. This bill not only requires monthly reporting on this data moving forward— it also makes DHS release all data back to the day President Biden took office on January 20, 2021. Since that day, immigration enforcement officers have encountered more than 1.7 million Special Interest Aliens. This is a direct consequence of the Biden-Harris Administration’s refusal to enforce our immigration laws.

I will continue to fight for strong border security as we work to reverse the consequences of the last Administration’s blatant disregard for law and order. We cannot fix this crisis without confronting it, and that always starts with the truth.
