This week in Washington, I had the privilege of welcoming my friend Kari Lake, Senior Advisor to President Trump for the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) to a Foreign Affairs Committee hearing. USAGM was created to combat foreign propaganda and provide unbiased information in places where press freedom doesn’t exist. But today, it’s completely off course, actively promoting the very propaganda it was meant to fight. And it’s being funded by American taxpayers. That’s completely unacceptable. Under President Trump and Kari Lake’s leadership I’m confident to see changes needed to course correct this failing agency. 

We also made major progress on the House Floor by passing the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act, delivering over $453 billion in support for those who’ve sacrificed for our nation.
