I want to make sure every family on the Treasure Coast knows about the ‘most-favored-nation” prescription drug pricing and how it may provide relief for you. 

Earlier this summer, the President announced that they've reached 26 agreements with pharmaceutical manufacturers, covering 89 percent of the brand-name drugs sold in America. 

In normal terms—for years, Americans have paid several times more for the exact same medication than patients in other countries. Most-favored-nation pricing changes this, so if a drugmaker sells a medicine cheaper somewhere else, Americans get that price too.

More than 800 brand-name and generic medications are now listed on TrumpRx.gov with the price right up front, and Americans have already saved more than $700 million.

Take Praluent, a cholesterol medication that lowers the risk of heart attack and stroke. It used to cost $537 for a one-month supply. On TrumpRx.gov, it's $225. That's 60 percent off for a drug that keeps people alive.

If you or someone you love takes a prescription every month, go to TrumpRx.gov and search for it. It takes about a minute, and it could save you hundreds of dollars a year.
