This week, Congress pulled back the curtain and put a spotlight on some major issues.

First, the Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability, which I chair, held a hearing focused on combating China.  If we want to get serious about keeping the Chinese Communist Party in check, the Biden Administration must guard our strategic advantage against one of our most dangerous adversaries.  Unfortunately, that’s not what’s happening.

Then, on the House floor, we formalized an impeachment inquiry of President Biden.  While this was not a vote on articles of impeachment themselves, this is the next step in getting vital information on the Biden family’s business dealings.

For all this, plus an update on some major concerns about surveillance and the National Defense Authorization Act, watch this week’s #WeekInReview.
