Happy Valentine's Day, America
Roses are red, violets are blue.
It’s Valentine’s Day, America—this one’s for you.
We deserve a strong, safe, and affordable country. It’s what I’ve been working on in the House, and it’s a priority for my Republican colleagues in Congress and the White House.

?? A Secure Border
For four long years of the Biden Administration, we watched chaos ensue at our southern border. Millions poured in, cartels took advantage of the crisis, and our communities paid the price. And now we’ve seen nine consecutive months with no releases at our border. That’s called honoring the rule of law.
?? Safer Communities
Deadly drugs shouldn’t flow unrestricted into our schools and neighborhoods. Cartels are being confronted head-on, and we’re stopping narcotics before they can even make it onshore. It’s about making our streets safer and keeping families from being devastated by addiction.
?? Cooling Inflation
Remember when inflation hit a 40-year high, squeezing budgets and hurting families? House Republicans are fighting to rein in reckless spending, and inflation has come down significantly from its peak.
?? Lower Interest Rates & Housing Relief
We’ve seen mortgage rates hitting painful highs with homeownership out of reach for too many middle-class Americans. Now rates are finally starting to ease, and House Republicans are working hand-in-hand with the Trump Administration to cut red tape and lower costs so more families can afford a place to call home.
This Valentine’s Day, let’s celebrate the love we all have for our country and continue to fight for it!
