Every day, hundreds of thousands of law enforcement officers wake up with one mission in mind: to protect their community.  As we head into National Police Week, we honor the brave men and women in blue who put their lives on the line everyday to protect us.

Under the Biden Administration, it became increasingly difficult for our law enforcement officers to do their job. From “defunding the police” to soft-on-crime policies, Washington did not have their six. We watched as local leaders demonized law enforcement and fueled an environment that let crime thrive while innocent citizens and small business owners suffered.

Now, we once again have a President who backs the blue, and I’m proud to stand alongside him in supporting that Thin Blue Line.

President Trump said it best himself, “safe communities rely on the backbone and heroism of a tough and well-equipped police force.” I couldn’t agree more; that's why in Congress, I make it a priority to fight for the resources our law enforcement needs to get the job done. I will always back the blue and their work that keeps our communities safe.

Thanks to those who put on the uniform and run towards the danger each and every day, we can wake up each morning safely. Their selfless service is a true inspiration.
