North Korea Tests Its Missiles Over Japan
The news of weakness in the White House made its way to the Hermit Kingdom.
Earlier this week, North Korea tested its massive intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), sending them into the maritime borders of Japan for the first time in five years.
Not only does this pose a huge threat to our allies, Japan and South Korea, but the ICBMs are designed to attack targets on the other side of the globe, including the United States.
When North Korea tested its ICBMs back in 2017, President Trump and Congress imposed severe sanctions on the rogue nation in a clear demonstration of peace through strength. I’m doubtful that the Biden Administration will respond in the same way.
But, as a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, I will continue to hold the Administration accountable and make sure that our national security is the top priority.
