What you told me about prescription prices
A few weeks ago I asked you if you’ve used TrumpRx—and if have used it, whether or not you’ve saved as a result.
Hundreds of you wrote back. Many shared relief: one neighbor in Port St. Lucie checked a common cholesterol medication and reported a price drop from $100 to $10. For anyone living on a fixed income, its these savings that actually help make a meaningful difference.
About fourteen percent of you hadn’t heard of TrumpRx, so for those who asked for clarification about how this actually works, let’s break it down.
For decades, families across our country have been forced to pay significantly more for the exact same medications than those in other nations—essentially subsidizing global innovation while others freeload. This is the gap that ‘Most Favored Nation’ pricing aims to close. Americans should get to purchase their prescriptions at the absolute lowest global price available. As the world’s biggest purchaser of prescription medications, it is only right that Americans receive the best bargain.
I also heard about medications that you’d like to see included—prescriptions for diabetes, breathing conditions, and other chronic needs. I really appreciate those insights while I continue to monitor prescription affordability. As 600 new medications were added to TrumpRx in May of 2026, I will keep you all updated as even more medications are added over time.
Thank you again for sharing your experience with me. If you haven’t yet but would like to, I’ll keep the form open for more feedback!
