Week in Review: Honor our Law Enforcement
It’s been a busy and productive week in Washington, and I’m excited to share updates on the work we’ve been doing to support our law enforcement, rein in wasteful spending, and support American industry. Let’s get into it.
This week marked National Police Week, and I had the honor of welcoming officers from St. Lucie, Martin, and Palm Beach Counties. This administration, and the Republican Congress, will always support the Thin Blue Line. We voted to pass legislation supporting those in uniform– including a bill to improve tracking assaults on officers and expanding access to mental health services.
I also met with leaders in Florida’s maritime industry to discuss expanding public waterway access, innovation, sustainability, and future infrastructure investments. Most importantly, we discussed how to keep this $40 billion industry thriving on the Treasure Coast.
As always, it is an honor to be your representative in Congress. To hear more on these issues, plus an update about the budget reconciliation progress, watch the latest Week in Review:
