Mast Seeks Volunteers To Help Veterans Share Their Stories

Veterans, Volunteers Invited To Participate In Library of Congress Veterans History Project

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Brian Mast (FL-18) announced today a new opportunity for veterans to share their stories by participating in the Library of Congress Veterans History Project (VHP).

“It takes a special kind of person to put on the uniform in defense of our nation and those who do are a living, breathing pieces of the history of the United States,” Rep. Mast said. “That’s why I’m so excited to announce this unique opportunity for volunteers in our community to come together to help veterans share their story with the nation, preserving it for generations to come.”

Rep. Mast and the 18th District Congressional office is seeking volunteers to help conduct interviews with veterans from across the community to be submitted to the Library of Congress as a part of the Veterans History Project. This project is a great opportunity for the community to come together and help veterans share their story with the nation and preserve it for generations to come. Rep. Mast recently shared his story as a part of the Veterans History Project and is inviting members of the community to come out and help our veterans share theirs, too.
