Israel is under attack. The death toll of the brutal massacre in Israel has already reached over 1,200 people, including more than a dozen Americans.

Today, my friend and the Consul General from the Israeli Consulate in Miami, Maor Elbaz-Starinsky, and I had a conversation about what this means for the Israeli people and how the United States can support our ally at this critical point in its history.

As it is for every Israeli, this is very personal for him and his family.  And he showed the resolve of the Israelis would not be shaken by despicable terrorists like Hamas.  I am proud to call him a brother and I will continue to defend Israel and their fight to eliminate every last terrorist.
