President Biden started a lie to make the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan look like a success story.  And now he is creating even more lies to cover up the others.

For one, President Biden called the evacuation an “extraordinary success.”  We all know that is a lie.

He also said that if there were American citizens left after August 31, the Administration is “going to stay until we get them all out.”  This also turned out to be a pathetic lie.

The list goes on and on.  So what happened as a result?

Afghan allies who helped the men and women in arms were left to be executed by the Taliban.

There is no doubt: This cycle of lies has put Americans and our allies at risk.

As chair of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability, I will continue to call out the lies that the Biden Administration has been spewing for the past three years.
