Today is National Manufacturing Day, and this year, we’ve got a lot to celebrate: the historic One Big Beautiful Bill is bringing manufacturing jobs back to America. Businesses across the world are investing in our communities with new factories, jobs, and opportunities for hardworking families. 

Here are a few recent announcements: 

• AbbVie announced a $195 million investment to expand drug production.

• Apple announced the company will increase its investment to $600 billion over the next four years, creating 20,000 new American jobs and many thousands more across its various suppliers.

• Century Aluminum announced it will invest $50 million, bringing its production back to 2015 peak levels.

• Ford announced it will invest $5 billion across its manufacturing plants to deliver a new midsize truck and advanced batteries.

• GE Appliances announced a $3 billion investment in its manufacturing, onshoring 1,000 jobs and expanding its plants.

• IBM announced a $150 billion investment over the next five years in its U.S.-based growth and manufacturing operations.

• Johnson & Johnson announced a $55 billion investment over the next four years in manufacturing, research and development, and technology.

• Williams International announced a $1 billion investment for a new high-volume aviation gas turbine engine manufacturing facility in Florida.

• Lego announced a $366 million investment to build a new distribution center in Prince George County, Virginia.
