Today, I proudly voted to pass a House Resolution denouncing the horrors of socialism. Introduced by my colleagues, Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (FL-27) and Sen. Rick Scott (FL), the resolution condemns the failed socialist ideology that destroys countries, crushes economies, and ruins lives across the world. 

Many people affected by socialism’s devastation have found refuge here in Florida, and we have always welcomed them in our free state. But unfortunately, we’re seeing a rise in the exact kind of dangerous rhetoric across the country that has failed so many nations.
