The lab doors are finally CLOSED.
For decades, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) used your tax dollars to fund cruel deadly experiments on beagles. Taxpayers and pet owners have been forced to pay for NIH abuse, with dogs being put through hell, kept in cramped cages, bleeding them out, and forcing them into septic shock.
Beagles were chosen because of their gentle, submissive nature. They were confined to cages with grated floors so their waste could fall beneath them, bred solely for testing and euthanized afterward to preserve the so-called “integrity” of the research.
It’s hard to imagine how anyone could justify the inhumane treatment that was being conducted. It was torture. There was nothing ethical about any of this.
But thanks to President Trump’s leadership, the last lab has been shut down for good after the administration announced their investigation into these experiments.
It’s long overdue but still a victory nonetheless: no more taxpayer dollars spent torturing man’s best friend.
