This week on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, we marked up the BUILD America 250 Act, which is the largest surface transportation investment in our history. When it passes and is signed into law, Florida could see $14 billion to fund and maintain our nearly 29,000 miles of highway and nearly 9,000 miles on the National Highway System.   

And as we head into Memorial Day, lets all take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of the day. This weekend, I will be thinking of all our fallen servicemembers, especially the friends whose names I wear on my wrist every day. They signed up knowing the risks, and they went anyway. Their service to our nation will never be forgotten.
