Great news for patriots everywhere—Donald J. Trump International Airport made its official debut today, July 9, 2026, joining twelve other airports across the country named after a President of the United States.

I was proud to introduce legislation at the federal level in March to rename Palm Beach International Airport after President Trump, who now joins the likes of Washington, D.C.’s Reagan National and New York’s John F. Kennedy as renowned hubs for air travel that honor iconic Commanders-in-Chief.

Names matter, and I’m proud of our Florida State Legislature and Governor for getting this done to show the nation who we choose to honor. When America and the world think of Palm Beach, they think of the President’s chosen home, and now our airport’s name says it too.

I’m looking forward to the first time I get to hear, “Welcome to Donald J. Trump International Airport.”
