This Fourth of July, our nation celebrates an incredible milestone: 250 years of American independence.
If you're heading to Washington, D.C., the National Mall will be bustling with the “Great American State Fair,” where you’ll find pavilions representing each state, military flyovers, and so much more from June 25 through July 11. As always, if you're making the trip, get in touch with my office for help with tours and tickets of the Capitol.
And don’t forget everything that’s going on here at home, like the fireworks over the St. Lucie River in Downtown Stuart, Stars Over St. Lucie in Fort Pierce, or Freedomfest in Port St. Lucie—to name a few.
Every corner of our nation will be celebrating this summer, and I put together a quick guide for FL-21 folks with information about what’s taking place in Washington as well as across Martin, St. Lucie, and northern Palm Beach counties to mark our Semicinquential.
Wherever you celebrate, I hope you and your family are able to pause and reflect on 250 years of “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness,” in the greatest country in the history of the world.
