On July 4, 2025, President Trump signed a truly historic piece of legislation into law: the One Big Beautiful Bill will support our  kids, seniors, veterans, and small businesses. It’s truly a win for all Americans. Let’s break some of it down here: 

From setting kids up for financial success at birth, increasing the Adoption Tax Credit, and prioritizing school choice—I’m proud to have supported legislation that takes care of our kids and families. 

This legislation puts more money in seniors’ pockets by delivering deductions up to $12,000 on top of the standard deduction for married couples. I’ve always fought to protect Medicare and social security, and this bill keeps that promise. 

For our veterans: I know how often bloated bureaucracy fails us, which is why I voted to invest billions of dollars to  healthcare and transition programs. It also protects 100 percent disabled veterans’ healthcare by exempting them from Medicaid work requirements. 

We know that small businesses are the backbone of not just the Treasure Coast, but our nation. Entrepreneurs create jobs and grow our economies. This bill ensures that they are set up for success by expanding the Qualified Business Income (QBI) deduction, doubling the Section 179 cap, and restoring full expensing for critical equipment. 

I came to Congress to deliver results for Americans who work hard and play by the rules in pursuit of a better life. The One Big Beautiful Bill does exactly that. I’m proud of these wins for our communities, and I’m ready to keep the momentum going.
