You’ve all heard the story of King Midas, the ruler cursed with the golden touch.  President Joe Biden has the opposite problem: everything he touches falls apart, particularly when it comes to foreign policy in the Middle East.

This week is just the latest example: the withdrawal from Afghanistan can only be described as chaotic and disorganized to the point of deadly.  The decisions he made, from abandoning Bagram Air Base in the dark of night to pulling the troops out before diplomatic personnel had been evacuated, led to the power vacuum that created a new terrorist state in a matter of days.

But this isn’t new.  President Biden has also advocated for a two-state solution in the Middle East. When you consider the fact that Hamas currently has a higher approval rating among the Palestinian people than the official government, the only logical result is that a recognized Palestinian state would be run by that terrorist organization.

All the while, the Biden Administration has continuously criticized President Trump’s withdrawal from the disastrous Iran Nuclear Deal.  Biden would rather lift sanctions on an authoritarian regime that is quickly becoming the latest nuclear power on the global stage.

Everything that President Biden touches falls apart, and the result is new terrorist states cropping up that threaten the safety and security of every single American.
