We’ve been working for months to hold the VA to accountable for their unacceptable use of taxpayer dollars to fund cruel, unnecessary experiments on animals. These painful—often deadly—tests have gone on far too long.

The good news is that the House recently passed legislation to do just that by requiring the Department of Veterans Affairs to eliminate these terrible, wasteful experiments on dogs and cats.

Protecting innocent cats and dogs is common sense, and I’m glad we were able to come together to get this done. I won’t stop fighting until every other government agency does the same!
