Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy.

They make up 7 out of every 10 news jobs. Without a doubt, small business owners and their brave ideas make America the biggest and the best economy in the world.

In addition, small businesses offer veterans the ability to take the next step in their careers after serving our nation. Unfortunately, too many veterans struggle to overcome bureaucratic hurdles or are unaware of the resources available to them by the federal government.

That’s why our office is hosting a workshop for veterans and spouses this Friday — May 3, 2024. This is an opportunity for veterans to learn about the resources and guidance needed to establish a veteran-owned or service-disabled veteran-owned small business.

Representatives from federal and local government agencies will also be on hand to answer any question you may have. This comes just in time for National Small Business Week!
