Being a dad is without a doubt the best job I’ve ever had and I know every other father out there knows what I mean. I’m grateful for every day I get to spend with my four rambunctious children.

Their enthusiasm and energy bring so much joy and meaning to my life. It reminds me how lucky I am to be their father.

I can't help but think of my own father, who has been a cornerstone in my life.

Without my dad, I would not be where I am now. I vividly remember recovering at Walter Reed when my dad told me: “Don’t let your best days of service be behind you." That stuck with me.

Those words fuel my determination and are a guiding principle. I think about them every day. 

So to every father, thank you for being an inspiration to your children. Your love, guidance, and sacrifices do not go unnoticed.
