As the greatest force for human dignity in the world, we should use the privilege we are afforded as American citizens to help spread the values of freedom, democracy and individual liberty.

On this front, the House of Representatives recently passed a resolution condemning the People’s Republic of China for violating the fundamental rights of the people of Hong Kong. This resolution sends a message that the United States will not turn a blind eye to China’s aggression any longer!

Upholding and advocating for human rights is a bipartisan goal that I hope we can all agree on!
