This morning, it was reported that Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board is “on pause” after major backlash from freedom-loving Americans across the country.

This should be a no-brainer: Biden’s effort to control information is a dystopian re-creation of the Ministry of Truth in George Orwell’s 1984.  No matter how the Biden Administration tries to spin it, the Disinformation Governance Board is a government entity designed to censor what we say. 

I believe that our First Amendment right to free speech must be protected by the government. The Disinformation Governance Board is something that should only exist in a dystopian novel or maybe a history book about the USSR.  Today’s announcement is a step in the right direction, but I’ll keep the fight going in Congress until this “board” is permanently scrapped.
