With rising levels on Lake Okeechobee causing the Army Corps to consider discharges, our fight to protect our communities from toxic discharges continues!

I will be taking this fight to Washington, D.C. tomorrow as the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment holds a hearing on the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan and water management in Florida. This is a hearing I secured in July as part of the Water Resources Development Act negotiations.

This hearing will include testimony from South Florida Water Management District, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and more.
