Today Is International Holocaust Remembrance Day
79 years ago, the world witnessed one of the darkest moments in history when Allied forces liberated the Auschwitz concentration camp.
In fact, when then-General Dwight Eisenhower recounted the moment he stood in front of the tragedy that took millions of innocent lives, he said, “I have never felt able to describe my emotional reactions when I first came face to face with indisputable evidence of Nazi brutality and ruthless disregard of every shred of decency.”
Almost eight decades have passed since, and we are unfortunately seeing a concerning rise in antisemitism in our streets, and the evil Iranian regime continues to fund terrorist groups to wipe the only Jewish homeland off the map. This needs to stop.
We cannot let such unjustifiable hatred wipe away innocent lives. As your Representative, I will continue to call out anti-semitism in all its forms, today and every day.
