It seems like everything these days is online from shopping to school and everything in between. Unfortunately, that has left our kids vulnerable to child predators who use the internet as a tool to hide, trick and take advantage of them.

The good news is that Congress recently took action to protect our children from these online threats by passing the Combat Online Predators Act. This legislation increases the sentence for stalking and cyberstalking to more than ten years.

This is a good added deterrent, but it is only just the start of this fight. I know there is more to be done, and I will never stop doing everything I can to keep our children safe!
